I’m not making predictions

March
9

I’ve been reading other people’s predictions and sitting here thinking about what mine should be, and I’ve realized I have no interest in making any. It would be thinly disguised guessing. I can only talk about the teams I know, and even when I make predictions about games involving two teams I know very well, it’s still just a guess.

I will say that Suffern has looked like a really great team for the past 18 games, and they’re capable of going as far as any other team in the state. The game against Ithaca will probably be low-scoring and it will feature two excellent goalies. That’s all I know until they play the game.

Rye is not as consistent, but they looked amazing against Salmon River. They’re peaking, they’re coming in confident, and they’re probably going to be severely underestimated by Monroe-Woodbury. I think it will be a very good game.
