Ice hockey in the Lower Hudson Valley with Harold Gutmann

Buy the Journal News on Sunday. Then cross the Tappan Zee and buy it again.

April
13

Come on. If you’re a real hockey fan you’ll need both editions of the All-Star issue – Rockland and Westchester. Then you’ll know what you’re talking about when the bad weather sets in on Sunday and you spend the whole afternoon arguing on the blog.

I’ll put something up on Sunday breaking down who got what position on what team.

I’ve gotta hop over to the girls lacrosse blog now to talk about the John Jay-North Rockland game I just covered. See you Sunday.

  1. Let the Fights Begin

Dan, how about letting everyone know in advance how the selections were made. Did you poll the coaches? Did you just go by what you saw? Did you take cash from the mom’s?
Seriously, how were the selections made…this way, whoever got what will know it was done the right way.

For what its worth, no matter who made what, this was a great season filled with great kids and you made it fun with these blog things.

  2. The Real Deal w/ Bill McNeil

Just name all the kids on the Stepinac JV squad and be done with it. We all know they are the bomb.

  3. Starship trooper

Best blogger: The Real Deal (with an honorable mention to Hockey Mom)

Best hockey writer: Dan Kiernan (HANDS DOWN !!)

Best JV team: The pride of Archbishop Stepinac

For all the rest we’ll have to wait until tomorrow…..

    Keep the blog alive.

    LETS GO RANGERS!!
