A goal by Dan Broderick with less than 10 minutes remaining proved to be the winner as White Plains edged Mamaroneck 4-3 tonight at Ebersole.

Jake Thomases was on hand for the action and filed “this update.”:http://www.lohud.com/article/20081218/SPORTS02/812180486/-1/SPORTS

  1. fiya

dan broderick is easily one of the top 5 sophomores in section 1
    anyone agree?

  2. Tiger Fan

But I would like to thank them for giving us alot top blog about! First this past weekend and now the Whopping they just recieved from the “REAL” TIGERS! Let’s us roar.

We have a new sheriff in town! LOL LOL LOL

  3. Like they said all along...

Mamaroneck is the team to beat! :)

  4. LoHud Hockey

Does anyone know the outcome of the Ossining/ONeill game from tonight?

  5. Mr, Puck

Rye keeps losing, Mamaroneck keeps losing, door wide open for the Pelicans. Pelicans Fly together!! Queensbury will roll over Rye like nothing they’ve ever seen, Pelham will beat Queensbury 2-1.

  6. wptigerhockey

i think broderick is the best sophomore is section 1…played with him on modified..me and him were linemates and we tore it up haha…35 goals that year for me, and im sure he assisted 95% of them…hes a great player, great passer, and can bury it when needed

  7. CN=Champ

    to fiya-
along wit broderick could be prunesti and two good defensmen from mt. pleasant, marinelli and fox…i saw them play vs. sh/i and they controlled the defense for their team

  8. very credible

So somebody who moved to florida 2 years ago thinks his modified linemate is the best in the section. Well, I give you credit for saying think. Broderick is good but i don’t think there is an argument against Prunesti being the best sophmore forward in the section.

  9. wptigerhockey

no, im just saying from experience of playing with him i think hes a great player…hes an all around great player, he does EVERYTHING very well…who is this prunesti kid? broderick has scored a ton of goals this year for white plains, and has scored against many good teams in league 1…

  10. giants hater

So being NorthRockland has blown 2 teams out Brewster 2 saturdays ago and bombed Etb last night how do you think they will do against Rye Town Harrison tommorrow night?

  11. response to giants hater

North Rockland should beat RTH, they are down this year. Do not read much into the ETB game. My understanding is that ETB was missing it’s 5 AAA players, If that is true you did not see the real team, and may get lit up in the rematch. I am not from ETB so do not attack then, i just heard they were not there, nor do I agree with them bailing on the team, but that is another story

  12. to wptigerhockey

As a ninth grader last season, he put up 31 goals and scored four against White Plains in the playoffs. He was selected for the USA Junior Olympic tournament this summer and is pure natural goal scorer, a highly prized commodity, especially among scouts.

That was copy and pasted from an earlier post by Harold. Hes not going to be named to the all-state team for high school but it terms of travel he is one of the top 3 players in the section (Willows and Hagen being the others).
