I’ve created a new thread for the Section 1 semifinal score updates. Please post them here if you can.
Also, some info from upstate: The Section 10 Division I championship between Potsdam and Massena will be at Clarkson’s Cheel Arena Sunday at 1 p.m. And the Section 2 Division II championship between Queensbury and Glens Falls will be at the Glens Falls Civic Center Saturday at 4 p.m.
The winners will host the respective Section 1 champions next Saturday.

Pelham has only given up 5 goals 2X all year, to Mamaroneck and CN. They are also 12-0 when they score 4 or more goals, this sounds like a high scoring game, I doubt Ossining wants any type of a shootout with Pelham, Flory, Emerson and Mamone would be tough to handle.

SWEET-Great to see WP beating Suffern.Great job! Nice to see Wp back to the top of the pack(since late 70’s).Some good teams in between, but great to see them get this far.

heard suffern was happy north lost to wp…. a little lesson, never pick an opponent…always comes back to bite u!!!!!
The Pac players played a very good game and played even with Mamo for the first period and half. Eventually the 4 lines that Mamo runs does catch up to you, Pac does not have the depth this year. Next year will be interesting Mamo will be losing their goalie and 11 other players next year, Pac will only be losing 4 players. I watched Pac beat WP two weeks ago (5-1) and now they are in the finals. On any given day you never know who is going to win, that is why you play the game.
Congrats to the Mamo team, they played hard and deserved the win.
To the Pac players, you should hold your heads high, you played hard, you gave it your all and you ended the season playing good hockey.
To the other jb, when did you appear using the same screen name that I have been using all season (JB)? I will use RJB for now on. To those of you who know me and know I use jb, I will now be RJB.

as i have said in the blog after wp beat cn, i said at the beginning of the season “white plains, 2009 section 1 champs”...and a suffern fan laughed and said “i cant believe you are so idiotic as to say something liek that, suffern is gonna bring it to white plains”...yea, 3-0…oh, and also, i saw a comment saying that you cant compare mike pavs to gabriel? well look who brought his damn A game tonight..a shutout for mike pavs..now thats 2 shutouts against suffern this season for him…DUBSET ALL DAY

oh and by the way shutting out suffern with half of there team sick at ebersole in 8 degrees is a great accomplishment.
I’m not sure how many total shutouts Pavarini has, but he has 2 against Suffern this year. Has Suffern ever been shutout twice in a season by the same team before? Doubtful.
Suffern fans are pathetic. When you lose, it is a litany of excuses, from sniffles, to refs, to whatever. When you win, it is because you were better. Please, we are so tired of hearing the whining. Maybe you just need to accept the fact that the rest of the league has/is catching up, and you are no longer the dominant team you were in years past. Two years in a row, knocked out on home ice. Deal with it.
