Ice hockey in the Lower Hudson Valley with Harold Gutmann

Joe Lombardi

Joe LombardiJoe Lombardi did not become familiar with lacrosse until after graduating from both Irvington High School and the University of Dayton — neither of which offered the sport. But it didn't take him long to take a liking to it since it combines elements of several of his favorite sports: basketball, hockey and football. In addition to serving as local sports editor of The Journal News and LoHud.com, Joe can also be seen each Wednesday during the school year on Varsity Central Live at LoHud.com/vclive.
